I stopped losing weight. I'm pretty sure it's the cake, cookies, and cookie dough. Our walks haven't been as frequent due to stuff coming up and some weather. I'm getting access to a lactation room at work with a hospital grade pump, so that will have me going up/down 2 flights of stairs 3x/day if I use it regularly instead of my personal pump in my office.Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

So, there is no weight loss to speak of and I am really unhappy with how I feel physically. So, I've decided to stop counting calories, to be very mindful of what I eat, and to be more active.
Now that the weather is nice, I am biking 4 miles a day, at least 3-4 times a week to take S to school on the tagalong. Pulling the extra 60 pounds for 2 miles is great and then going fast the other 2 miles is great too. (it is roughly a mile to school).
I am still doing yoga and while I only do one class a week, I definitely can tell that it is helping.
But, the best part is that I am committed to getting back into running. I had actually been planning on drive 90 minutes each way to go to a store and get my gait evaluated because I have such craptastic knees and my last pair was making my SI joint hurt. Yesterday, I discovered that a running store opened up downtown. During S's dance class, I was able to pop in, do the eval, and get new shoes and socks. They definitely change how my foot lands and will take some getting used to, but I am excited about it.Kris

You're right. My ideal has changed too. I'm never going to be bikini ready, but a size 8 sounds great now! And I do want to be more healthy. Watching my mom struggle has inspired me to get on it nowMarried to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

I jogged for a half hour straight...for the first time in my life (seriously). I know it's not that big of a deal but it's a huge accomplishment for me!
Also, I'm on vacation, non-stop eating and my jeans are not really fitting so well after just 4 days (despite gym-ing 3 of those days)! Guess it's time to put down the fork. ::le sigh::
