I've been shoveling candy into my mouth like crazy today. This thread was made for me. I feel like I'm gonna snap today--it's only been a 3 day week.

Weird. How'd that extremely healthy snack find it's way next to me in bed while I watch Celebrity Wife Swap?

      I've got mad coping skills.

I'm 25 minutes out from walking out of my office and up to the gym to swim laps. I opened this thread and was immediately compelled to eat 12 peanut butter M&Ms. My thinking? "Oh, half of this bag is still up here above my desk. I should probably eat them so they aren't here tomorrow." Only the stress-induced anxiety zaps my appetite. Any kind of sad/emotional strife sends me straight to the ice cream or baked goods.

I'm there with you all. I've been good for 2 days. Ha! I have no tricks. I'm only being good because I made a deal with Mapplebum for 4 days.

I'm going to check out LaCroix to replace my Diet Coke addiction though. I'm chugging that crap like crazy right now dealing with my dog-cancer stress. I was ODing on chocolate all last week.

I have been an emotional eater lately too. I have been craving chocolate and I don't even like the stuff. Chocolate chips have been my go to since I have nothing else. I have resorted to apple slices dipped in almond butter.

I barely have an appetite and still crave junk food. I usually eat a plain cracker to help swallow my antibiotic. Today it was an oreo

I am a big emotional eater with a sweet tooth. Wearing tight clothes at home helps me...I can see and feel my rolls so that reminds me to stop stuffing my face! Also drinking 2 glasses of water before I give in to a craving helps.

Here's a healthier mug dessert recipe by the way:

I'll second La Croix - they even have some new flavors.
The new flavors are awesome! The apple berry is amazing. The cherry like has really grown on me the last two weeks, but it was almost too sweet at first.

I kind of can't believe there are no sweeteners or calories on these new flavors. The flavors are so vibrant. I keep thinking about the Seinfeld with the frozen yogurt (I assume it was based on tasty-d-lite) where they are all eating the calorie free frozen yogurt and gain like 20lbs... I guess similar things happened with pirates booty and arctic zero fro yo..... So who knows, but in the meantime I'm am loving it!

I hear you. I've been stress eating since Amanda was admitted. How long has that been? Over a month. I keep telling myself to get control, but control doesn't happen. I haven't weighed myself but I know it's bad. Maybe today will be the day I get control .....
