    My weigh in day is usually Monday’s, but I forgot yesterday so I weighed in today. Down 4 pounds! This is more than I usually lose in a week, so I’m sure part of it was still my body readjusting to being back on the wagon post vacation. This means I’ve now officially lost all the weight I gained while on vacation plus a little more.

          I lost a total of 15.8 pounds which put me at 4.5 for the week. Preparing for it to slow down.

              Kris, hang in there, I know it’s frustrating. To avoid the emotional swings that come with the weight fluctuates, I only weigh in once a week. Perhaps you could try that for awhile?

              Today was my weigh in day. Down 1.4 pounds this week. Next week we’ll be at an all inclusive resort in Cabo, so likely won’t weigh in for a couple weeks. DH’s birthday is the first and mine is the seventh of August, so I won’t be surprised if I gain a little back between vacation and birthday celebrations.

                  I meant to post on Friday. This week I lost 0.8 pounds, while last week I gained 1.4 pounds. Meh.

                    I haven't read this whole thread so I apologize if this has been mentioned.

                    About a year ago I looked at our vacation photos and cringed. I had gained about 18 pounds over the last few years!

                    I tried an app called NOOM with great results. My favorite part about it is there is no pre packaged food. You have to learn how to shop, prepare and consume food that afforded you the results you wanted. AND you don't have to give up anything particular -- just manage foods according to calories and how they fuel (or don't) your body. I lost 15 pounds in 4 months. It was EYE opening.

                    Anyway -- just a suggestion on what helped me. I keep it off now with a bit of tweaking. I usually fluctuate in a 5 pound range now although I've had a bit of fun this summer according to my scale. Now I know how to take it off though and so I'm not too annoyed.

                      Today I gained. More than I even want to confess to.

                      I didn't exercise at all due to my cortisone shot. And, I walked in to a metal corner of a bottom opening window, and bled a fair amount, ended up at the doctor for glue. Needless to say I NEEDED a few cookies to get over that. So no, not my best week

                        I’m down 1.4 pounds plus the 4 I mysteriously gained. Slow progress. It was easier to stay motivated when the progress was quicker.

                          It will come off. I’m sure all of the pain and issues with exercising didn’t help. I know it’s frustrating not to lose.

                            I’m back from Cabo and gained 6 pounds over our 12 day vacation. Yesterday was my birthday, but we will really be celebrating with friends this weekend. I’m trying to make good choices, but it’s my birthday so I’m settling for partying in moderation. I proudly wore a legit bikini the entire Cabo vacation which I haven’t done in years. Even when I was thinner in my 20’s, I would wear a bikini top with a skirted bottom. Something I have gained during my 30’s though (beyond the weight) is confidence. I really have come to appreciate my body and love it even if it’s not what it used to be. We actually went on a hike that ended up being more of a mountain climb during our Cabo trip. I am so damn proud of that accomplishment and the views were amazing.
