Haha! You're my kind of racer. The only thrill I'm looking for is the fresh wind in my face, not so much the thrill of competition. Nyc has definitely given me perspective.

• Sorry I'm not your morning person...I'm thinking of trying to get moving to work out in the mornings, but I'm thinking like from 7-8 or even 8-9. >.< (which means getting out at like 10 or 11 your time, LOL.)

I got fitted for proper running shoes today!! Turns out I'm a mild pronator.

Ooooo nice getting fitted! Where did you go?
I got fitted a couple years ago and I still can't bring myself to throw out that pair of sneakers. ....

• I get up pretty early, but only do organized runs 2x a week.
My kids have me up anywhere from 4:30 to 6:30am. 😄 Would you like a call service?

I went to a specialty running store south of Seattle. It was pretty comprehensive, the guy spent about a half hour helping me. I am still attached to the first brand I got fitted for though, and was a little disappointed he didn't offer it as an option! These asics feel so good though..and I am going to try to make myself replace them after 400 miles!

You will notice a difference in your stride when they are worn.

I hit fitted last year and it made a difference.

• I am not a morning person, but would be interested in potential morning buddy workouts. Not starting until 3/1, though. I used to get up at 4:00 or 5:00 every day to workout and it's just tough to do that now. However, it's the only time of day that I can actually guarantee will not get eaten up by work or socializing or whatever, so I should probably suck it up and get back to it...

I've just started getting back into it after a several week break. And yeah, there's no "steps" for it......

Yea I haven't been to yoga in a month because of trying to keep up with these ladies. But that's fine, it's fun and has gotten me out the door many a morning (or afternoon, as it's snowing)

You're incredible! Haha idk what exactly I need! Maybe just the knowledge that others are alive and active at that time if day? Lol
I'm trying to ease myself into it this week getting up just a tad earlier each day. Yesterday I got up at 7am and got into work early. Today I got up at 645 and got a lovely 2.5 mile run in. Goal for tomorrow is 630am, for a run and swim on the way to work.
rufflesanddots any thoughts on what can help us? My hubby gets up at 5, so that's my ultimate goal wakeup time. Should I make another thread dedicated to getting each other out of bed in the morning? Lol ohhhh bed how I love your coziness, I am still missing you right now.

I ran all last year in cross trainers I bought cheap on Zappos as gym shoes. No tread, heavy, and I doubt they had the stability I need. Even just running on the treadmill in the store, I could tell these new ones are aligning everything better. Excited to get out for a run today!
