I made the ribs Heidi posted, and they were yummy, but a word of warning: don't get the ribs too close to the broiler... I had them on the rack closest to the broiler plate, and when I checked on them after 3 minutes, they were on fire. Literally had flames coming out of them! I'm such an idiot!

I will probably not broil them next time, and just bake them at 400 degrees or something less flammable.

Recipe note: I cut WAY back on the chili powder, like I use 1/4 of what it calls for. It's way too much for me as written. I like Sweet Baby Rays BbQ sauce.

I'm so happy this exists! I love my slow cooker. When I'm real lazy with cooking (most of the time) I default to a cup of broth/stock with a package of frozen chicken breasts topped with either a frozen veg package or any fresh that I don't have to chop, topped with random seasonings. Cook on low 4-6 hours. I mix this up by using diff veggies, Turkey breast, cans of tomato sauce, or cans of salsa instead of broth.
