Yep, the magical, wonderful SEC. You know, the only conference where football is played...at least that is what you'd think after hearing A&M and others spew their adoration.

I totally agree with you, but they really do spend more money than most places.

So how'd everybody's seasons shake out? I'm guessing not that well, based on how little action this thread had. My Trojans are playing Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl, which is frankly probably better than they deserve. I'm just disappointed that the game starts at noon here on a day I have to work.

My team was the ONLY team in the Big 12 to NOT make a bowl game - ha ha ha ha ha OOPS! Next year will be better, we were SEVERELY lacking in the QB department this year - severely!

The teams I follow (Notre Dame and Oregon) have done well.

The Ducks were so, so close to going to the National Championship game in Miami, until they blew it with Stanford. They are going to the Fiesta Bowl and will play Kansas State, which should be a fun game to watch. We are traveling to AZ to attend the game and vacation.

I would have loooooved to watch ND and U of O play each other. ND gets way too much credit for being ND in national polling so I'm pretty sure they'll get creamed in Miami. They're not accustomed to playing really competitive teams. Their schedule is a cakewalk.

A couple really good friends of ours are team docs for ND and they're PISSED that their tickets are being given to big money donors for the school. The main team doc for ND will probably be there, but the fellows from the sports med institute won't.

That is totally screwy!!! The big money donors should have to secure their tickets through just that.. their big money!! I hope ND beats Alabama, because I hate the SEC, but I think that's about as likely as us getting to a bowl game

Lol, they are securing their tickets with big money. I have no issue with them getting tickets.

We are true blue ND fans so this has been an awesome year for us!! It has been since I was pregnant with dd18 that we've had a really good year. It's also been fun to listen to Mike Golic on Mike and Mike every morning. Such a fun special time for their family
