Liisi, that sounds great! (Sponsoring the Bolivian girl, not spending 45 minutes chasing the rabbit, haha). Do you write the letters in English and someone translates them or does she speak English?Wife of a surgical fellow; Mom to a busy toddler girl and 5 furballs (2 cats, 3 dogs)

Today I spent 3 hours at the doggie rescue place cleaning up dog poop. Apparently no one could wait until let-out time today and once one goes, they all go. Gross.
Today DH comes home for the *entire* weekend! I've only seen him once this week so this is quite exciting.
Today the weather was a-maz-ing. High of 79. Wore pants. Didn't shave my legs. It was great.Wife of a surgical fellow; Mom to a busy toddler girl and 5 furballs (2 cats, 3 dogs)

Today (or tonight really), I arrived home from a 3 day business trip to Boston. With the car seat, stroller, pump, diaper bag, computer bag, roller bag, milk cooler, and DD. She was so good on both flights and even let me doze a little before we landed.
Now here's hoping she will go back to sleep after the excitement of coming home to Daddy.Married to a Urology Attending! (that is an understated exclamation point)
Mama to C (Jan 2012), D (Nov 2013), and R (April 2016). Consulting and homeschooling are my day jobs.

I was driving through the rainy Oregon country side, coming back from work, when I turned on the radio and this song was playing. It was the first time for me to ever listen to it. It was exactly what I needed to hear. I've always felt we move to Oregon for a reason but I don't know what that reason was, yet. I've really been questioning lately. Honestly, it was something spiritual that moved me here and spirit spoke to me today. I felt I got my reply in the song in the lyrics.
If you get lost, you can always be found.
Just know you’re not alone,
Cause I’m going to make this place your home.
Settle down, it'll all be clear.
When I was very young maybe around 3-4 years old I remember meeting real live angels. I had intended to run away from home and in that short journey I saw a bright light between the houses as I was leaving the subdivision. I went to the light and there were three angels there. I can recall what they wore and how they looked. It was angelic with long white robes and golden rope around their waists. We had a conversation that I don't recall entirely but I do remember it was telepathic and the message that stuck with me was, "You are not alone." As they left I felt I wasn't supposed to remember them but I didn't want that to happen and I stared into the green grass burning the memory into my mind that I will not forget this. Even still it's faded because it was so long ago but I recall a piece of it that sticks with me today and this song touched me with the lyrics, "You are not alone" as if the angels were speaking to me again. It brought me back to them being right there with me. I've always known from a very young age that we're not alone and something else is out there guiding us, loving us and with us. I know that much.

Today I'm going to play a whole 18 holes of golf with my husband for his birthday. I've promised him for months. I've never played golf before, only been to the driving range. Pray for me.Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.
