          • Not quite yet. We havent reached full on baby rabies yet like it was when I got pregnant with N. It was BAD. Though it might die down some the more she becomes a toddler. She says "no" in the correct context now...

And throws tantrums. Did not see that coming until she did the first one this week. I still want another too. I have baby rabies.

You realize there are only about 6 weeks left in the year, right?

                      • Oh, you all are making my ovaries ache! I've got two toddlers -- one who *just* stopped napping (shoot me) and another whose favorite word of the week is "no" -- they are both sliding through root beer puddles and I've SO got the baby rabies. Shutup shutup shutup.

                        • Ladies, ladies, please... *cough cough* There's no need to vie for my super-amazing, baby-enabling throne.

Seriously though, even as The Enabler, I still have PTSD from my no-nap, no-sleep at night experience with DS. I think that prevents me from teetering off the edge right now. For every moment of cute with Bean, I have 5 more of "What do you mean, 'No Lifeguard on Duty?!'"

                          • Oh you want to hear enabler - my 4 year old walked up to me in Crazy 8 today and asked me if I was having a baby. When I told her no, she said but families have 3 babies and I want a baby. Then she kept talking about all of the adorable baby clothes - ack!!

                            • Next year, next year!!!

Right now would put me heavily pregnant in a Texas summer. That's horrifying.

(Men stop reading) Though I did have a ridiculously long cycle (for me) this month and burned through 3 pregnancy tests even though there was little chance of being pregnant (but some chance, TMI sorry) and of course that is what amped up the baby fever.

MrsK is an easy target! Pounce ladies!!

And whoever can convince SuzySunshine gets a prize because she has shown serious resolve!! Come on Cheri...what's your weakness?

                              • C - I think she might just win!

My cousin just got remarried a few weeks ago and has 2 girls from her previous marriage who are in K and 1st grade. One of the girls drew a family portrait that showed my cousin, the new hubby, both girls and a baby brother. Apparently, it isn't the first time the baby brother has shown up in family portraits.
