Today I've done my civic duty in an election that will set off a maelstrom across the nation no matter the outcome.

Today is the last day of school for DS. Is it okay to have a lunch cocktail? Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?

Today, I need to hang out the load of clothes that I washed this morning.

Today, I need to finish bagging up the 10+ pounds of strawberries that I froze on cookie sheets last night.

Today I've come to terms with the fact that DH will still never be home because he's either at work or our weekends are booked for months so if I want things hung on the wall and the house finishes I have to do it myself.

Today I have dropped A off at her 2nd day of camp and I'm looking forward to grocery shopping with just one child again.

        Today:

I'm at the car dealership waiting while they finish up some warranty work before the warranty expires in 7,000 miles. Kia has a pretty awesome warranty.

        DH is on call.

I discovered that there's a raccoon in the neighborhood because the DD1 put the garbage out last night without making sure it was ALL in the can. DD1 has quite a gross, smelly mess to clean up when she gets home from school.

            eww

Today I will get the apartment presentable for all the guests we will be having in the next two weeks.
Today I was thankful I keep a bag of spare clothes in the trunk of my car because when I walked to my car today I realized it was much colder than I expected and instead of running back inside and being late, I was able to just go and use my spares.

Today we dropped DH at the airport. Fingers and toes crossed that he passes, though he's smart and very capable and has dedicated so much time over the past year, I have no doubt that he'll come home MD, Anes. FRCPS

Today it's hot, sunny and I plan on spending time in the yard, on the deck, with kids and neighbours.

Today, I have zero motivation to cook dinner. Thank god for kids who'd prefer to eat apples and bread with butter.

Today is the first time in our five years, that i've been away from my DH, aside from call nights. Feels weird.

Today we will spend the night at our first house ( we previously owned a condo) - the fact that I own the lawn makes a big difference to me!!!!!

Today we got new state licenses (after 2 hours at the DMV).

Today, I am going to Ryan's school where he is going to be receiving a special award in an evening assembly.

Today, Alexia is almost done with dance and has her second to last lesson before her performance. Another mom is driving them to class tonight. Thanks to her for doing that.

Today, it is raining, and I'm not sure if Ryan will have golf or not. I am going to take him anyway and pay for summer camps.

Today my oldest DD finished kindergarten (tear).
My fabulous nanny/mothers helper came with us to the ice cream shop and to walk around town. When I saw people I knew (I actually know people here - yay!), I could chat without being interrupted every two seconds.
DH turned another year older, and DD was mad that his b-day interrupted his last day of school.
We had an awesome, very fun day!

Today I am getting my hair cut!

Today I need to figure out how to get my Yukon in for brake work, and still have transportation for all the stuff I need to do.

Today I am going to make blueberry muffins.

Today I feel sick from eating a bag of gummi bears. No wonder I'm not losing the baby weight.

Today when DH gets home he will have been gone at work about 32 hours straight. I hate his job lately.

Today my 5 year is having a playdate, but I would rather clean my house than visit with her mom.

Today my baby makes me smile.

Today I fretting about our upcoming trip to my ILs. MIL keeps calling about food when she buys what I don't like my kids to eat anyway. I told MIL DD4 only sleeps in her swing. She thinks DD4 will sleep in the doll bed she has. It is set up 10 days early. I don't want to go. I am also pissed this is our primary summer vacation.

Today, I feel like trod-upon dogdoo and will be stopping by the lab to get a rapid strep asap. Whole body hurts, and I can hardly swallow.

Today, I need to stay awake long enough for the Culligan guy to come in.

Today, I need to get off my ass and get the week's trash and recycleables out.

Today, I am going back to bed as soon as possible.
