Well DH has it now, ugh. I'm crossing my fingers that the Good Lord smiles upon me for all of the vomit and poop i've cleaned up over 17 years of parenthood, and gives me a hall pass from it.
Today my DH came home, green from a 3hr flight and being sick, and went straight to bed.
Today my 2 and a half year old DD was from hell and was put to bed at 6pm.
Today it went up to 33C (91.5F) which is unheard of this early in June. It was GLORIOUS. Now a big fat storm is rolling in, which is a perfect way to cap off the night.
Today I washed my truck and no sooner than the second I dried it, did a big fat black bird come and crap all over the hood. I will not miss the tree that canopies our driveway when it gets chopped down next week.
Today my little peanut who has been sick all week seemed to have a good turn around this afternoon, and actually ate solid food for the first time since Sunday. The poor kid is so small to begin with (almost 4, weighs 26lbs soaking wet and is smaller than his 2 and a half yr old sister) that now he looks like one of those emaciated Biafran children from the Save the Children ads with Sally Struthers.
