Today, I removed the last part of the ivy from the 2nd flower bed, and I'm thrilled to be done with it.
Today, my mom and her friend are coming down so we can go to a huge open air market that specializes in furniture.

Today I took the kids clothes shopping alone. Not a big deal with the girls, but add a 5 yo boy and you get sympathy looks from other shoppers in Kohl's. We survived and got some good deals.

Today I met MrsK and her boys, R enjoyed playing with them too!
Today the kids and I made zucchini bread, I really need to do that more often.

The only issue is that we have an agreement to not introduce a new romantic partner to the kids unless it is a serious relationship.

So, D came with on the trip and as E was carrying Sophie up the steps, she was reaching out her hand over his shoulder shouting D's name! hehehehe

On top of that, as D and Caleb were walking out of the gas station on a pit stop, Caleb said to him that when the 4 of us are together, it feels like D is his dad. I feel so badly for Caleb. It must have been hard for him to say because it is an admission that is own father is failing him. I feel badly that I can't provide everything that he needs.

We talked about it quite a bit on the way home. He is flattered, but I don't think he sees our relationship as potential romantic fodder either. I'm really torn because he is a great person and would be the father that E simply can't be, but the chemistry really isn't there, no matter how much I wish it were. But, honestly, when he hangs out with me and the kids, it feels like a family unit, so I completely understand where Caleb is coming from. I just keep hoping that a spark will start.

That's the thing with sparks, you never know where or when they'll strike. DH and I were both completely floored when we realized that we had more-than-just-friend feelings towards each other.

Today DH is still on his fishing trip with a buddy of his from the hospital. They are having a great time.

Today my dad took my DD(10) and a friend of hers all day to go bowling, play games, watch a movie, and have dinner. Best.grandpa.ever!!

Today I have been working on stats all day. Shoot me now.

Today I am still getting used to dying my hair dark brown yesterday, and deciding in whether or not I regret doing it. The jury is still out.

So dh loves to post anything and everything in eBay. He took one of my bottles of perfume and checked to see what it is selling for... 250 used. I will not let him sale it because it is the perfume my grandfather gave me while I was gettin ready for my wedding. I have only wore t the once. Not a huge fan of the smell but it is special. Dh is mad I will not let him sale it. Ummm hell no!!
