    • Today the dude hops a plane, but STILL won't be home until almost 10pm tomorrow night. We then have a 5-hour car ride home from the airport and he works Tuesday. Poor dude is going to be completely wiped out.

            • Today I had a migraine for the third day in a row. I am so wiped out and crying at the drop of a hat, which is really not helping the pressure in my head! Ugh.

Hope you feel better! Too many of us with migraines on this board-hate it!

Today, I went to a basketball game because a friend has season tickets. Nice seats!

                  • Today we came home from a wonderful get together with my grandfather , his girl friend, and my mil. We had a wonderful time in Branson. We saw the lights at silver dollar city. I really do miss some on my family. It was so nice to see my grandfather happy with his new girlfriend. She is great! And Ryan's mom and I are very close.

                    • Today, I got the last of the wallpaper down from Bubba's room and thanks to a friend who is an electrician, I avoided an expensive electrical problem. Now, I think I might just see about hiring someone to skim coat the walls so I don't have to repair all of the chipped paint.

                      • Dude, I would TOTALLY skim coat those puppies.

                        • I just have to see if it is in the budget... It would be so much better than spackling 784 frickin' chips in the paint some of which are the size of my palm.

ETA: I still will need to do the prep of scraping off the chipping paint. I want to wait a couple of days though until the walls are dry before I do any real scraping.

                          • Yup, definitely wait until dry and definitely get off as much of the loose, chipping paint. The next coating will only adhere as well as whatever is underlying it.

                            • AHHH BRANDI! Silver Dollar City Christmas Lights!!! Where did you end up staying? I identify SDC at Christmas with some of the happiest moments of my childhood. And hell, adulthood too. I'd say it is partially to blame for my holiday fanaticism. I cant wait to take N!
