  • Today is the resident thanksgiving dinner. Dumbass tells me he's on his way, so I wait. Meanwhile, i drink wine with coworkers. An hour later, he goes to the wrong building. So now I'm drunk, starving, and at work. And still waiting for him.
I'm just trying to make it out alive!

    • Today is our anniversary and we went to this tiny hole in the wall Sushi place. There was a table of six annoying as hell dawkters loudly talking about their awesomeness and dawkter shit. Dude no one gives a shit that you're a dawkter, especially not this dawkter wife.

                    • Today is shaping up to be an awesome day. I got the quote last night to get Caleb's wall skim coated. Today, is his 10th birthday and I took him out to lunch to the only Indian restaurant in town (his choice) which happens to be just 2 blocks from home. He is off of school today and is enjoying just hanging out.

My dad just arrived to trim out the window that was replaced in April. Nothing like the thought that tomorrow is Thanksgiving and on Friday dad is having his knee replaced to light the fire under his butt to get it done. *sigh*

I just returned from getting my new phone.

And tonight I am taking the kids to a free showing of Brave at the local library's amphitheater,

                      • Today is my weekly date with K1. Highs: Checked out a dozen library books and a movie about giraffes, used the free meal coupon the dentist gave him to have a corndog at Applebees, behaved while I ran some errands, and the monkey hats arrived for his birthday party. Lows: He cannot sit still today. I had to remove him from storytime after he pissed off the librarian for repeatedly interrupting her and standing up directly in front of the book so the other kids could not see, he spent an hour goofing off in his crib and did not nap during which time I cleaned out the kitchen cabinets and he managed to climb/fall out of his crib (didn't hurt himself, from where I am, it sounded like he fell in slow motion). It's been a good day but if I had any intention of accomplishing or had K2 with me, I'd be so irritated right now.

                            • This is our foster dog over thanksgiving emmitt. He was born in the shelter and has lived there 7 years. But in one night he has already learned bad behavior. He is going to have some stories when he goes back to his no kill shelter.
