            • Ides - I looooove that fat puppy belly! Enjoy the puppy breath and kisses...may they allow you to forget the sharp teeth that are always on the prowl to chew something up.

Looks like my dobe when he was wee-little. How big will she get? What is her name?
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

OMG, I read this and thought it sounds just like K2.

                • She's seven weeks right now and almost 7 lbs. Her daddy is 90lbs and her mom is about the same. Her daddy is only a year so he might get bigger still! She's one of the runts - there were three runts out of 10 pups. We named her Nova. Trying to get some gates set up to control the poop and pee messes. Ewww.

                  • Today, I wasted a fair bit of time getting lost down the YouTube rabbit hole of dog/puppy videos. What started out as a search for "scared great danes" led to "funniest labs" led to "dog and baby" led to "dog welcomes soldier home" led to "birthday/christmas/whateverholiday puppy surprise" and on and on. For a minute there, I didn't think I'd ever see daylight again.

                    • Today, I took K1 to see "Muppets In Space" at a "real" theatre. So much fun. Then he showed me how he uses the toilet "like a big man. . . the way daddy does it." Apparently, there is an art to this that is outside the scope of my expertise. You can file that one under "things I wouldn't know if I didn't have a son."

                        How fun!

And K has always preferred to go like Daddy does. LOL

                        • Today is a "good mommy" day - I've been happy, DD's been happy, we've been having fun. There are no dishes in the sink, laundry's getting done. I've got this! (That's how I feel today - they're few and far between, though!)

ETA: DD has been saying "Yes, please" instead of just "yes" all day DH is helpless to refuse her when she says "please" - so I encourage it

                            • Today, my husband operated on my gay boyfriend (knee scope and partial meniscectomy).

Today, I got a Yuko Japenese thermal straightening. During my treatment, my stylist served me red wine, cheese, pears, grapes, and nuts.

Today, I am dreading a visit from my in-laws who are on the red-eye tonight.
