  • DH says that the fact that it's intact and they're trying to coil it is good news! But it still sucks, BIG hugs!!

          • Hang in there. It is no fun, but it does get easier.

Today - I am working from home as normal, but with both kids home from school. Nothing screams professionalism like having kids fighting in the background.

            • Today I'm worn out and ready to fall over. Off to run girls to ballet, stop for gifts for DH's colleagues, come home, feed boy, pick girls from ballet, fall over finally.

Oh, I think the boys watched 10 hours of TV yesterday. After 16 days off of school with a very pregnant momma, I'm tapped out. I was so grateful for the mother's helper who came over for a couple hours of piggyback rides and fort building. Really, I should have had a teenage girl before these boys came along.

                  • Hm....just interviewed a girl to come in and clean once a month. Didn't take off her boots and tracked in snow residue....right.

                    • We are on snow day #2 and day #3 of being trapped in the house (although DH had surgeries scheduled this morning, so he went in). My MIL has been trapped with us, and we get along fine, but I am OVER it. It is probable that we will have another snow day tomorrow, too. That part is actually good, because the boys and I have been sick. Still, a little cabin fever is setting in.....

                        • Today dh is stranded in Boston. Supposed to come home tonight and two hours before takeoff it's been canceled. He's got cases tomorrow here too. Guess he'll be canceling those. Boo.

                          • I am curious if the kids will have school tomorrow. Monday night, we were alerted that school was cancelled today. Tomorrow's temps are supposed to be the same as today, within a degree or so. HMMM

                              • I am waiting for the news of another snow day. i haven't been out of the house since Saturday. Going stir crazy after DH left at 5 am for work, 4 hours away. Indy public schools called off already so we are probably close behind. The kids don't have anywhere to stand at the bus stops because of snow banks.
