There was some kind of power outage so they closed our office at 1:00 p.m..... I say it was karma for staying open Monday. DH was on post call and actually home. We went out for a delicious family dinner for my Birthday.... I suppose this should have been in with the raves!

Do you do yoga videos at home?

Yes, I've done loads of videos at home, but don't have any props, like blocks. It is a Iyengar yoga studio, a form of hatha. I've always done power yoga with loads of sun salutations. I can't do them with my tendinitis.

I'm going to have to google search all of those terms haha. I've started doing Sadie Nardinis videos on youtube. She's TOUGH! I'll know I've made serious progress when i can do those chackti (sp?) kicks.

Today I left the house once.

Today my firstborn and I demonstrated our love for chianti/provolone cheese spread on pita crackers. My husband is concerned.

Today I tricked my youngest into eating chicken that wasn't in the form of a nugget.

Today I decided I'm not staying at work past 3 anymore, unless I have something really important to do. I'll play catch up in the evenings after E goes to bed if necessary. I worked until 4 today and hated leaving her at daycare so long. I know she's fine, and lots of people do it, but one of the reasons I chose my career is that it allows me to be flexible, and I need to start really taking advantage of that so I can enjoy as much time with E as possible.

Today I ate vegetables for breakfast. A friend offered her office to use as an office for me, so I can work somewhere besides the dining room table, which does get tricky. (I work from home.) Yesterday, my 3-year-old recovered from a bout of strep *and* flu. I think today's going to be a good one.

Today I've had a splitting headache and both our internet and cable have been out all day. So I decorated the house for Mardi Gras, made a friendship bracelet (my 11 y.o. self would be pleased to know my friendship bracelet making skills are still on point) popped a frozen pizza in the oven, and now I'm watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
