The cold front is here! Whee! *backflip*
Total temperature change? 32 degrees in 8 hours. I am SO pumped!
DH, DS, and maybe even the dogs (still remains to be seen) are doing a big hike tomorrow. Break out the polar fleece, because Mama is ready to throw down.

Salted caramel cake at Market Street. Yum.

$75 in Halloween craft/decoration supplies from Hobby Lobby = me (and my new sofa) covered in glitter. Halloween wreath is drying. It's sparkly, of course.

"Just give me plain Baby Jesus lying in a manger Christmas!" I had to type that out -- we're watching The Office.

It's peak foliage now, here where I am. I took the beagle for a long walk in the woods this morning, and the beauty took my breath away. The leaves on the trees, surrounding me on all sides, and thickly carpeting the ground, were the color of gold and honey. It felt so cozy.

The pumpkin bread was so delicious that SO and I ate the whole loaf in two days.

The pumpkin bread sounds good. I also read that about the Starbucks running out of pumpkin spice syrup at some stores but their Corp. HQ said there isn't a shortage those stores are just running out before they restock. I've had exactly one pumpkin spice latte this season because I don't normally drink coffee. Last year I sort of got addicted to them though. I tried several locations and only one of them made an amazing Pumpkin Spice Latte and of course it's in the most busiest college central place in town on 13th street in the University District. This year I'm not as into them because I don't normally like pumpkin flavored things anyways. I do enjoy my french pressed coffee too but mine's been in storage for awhile in the other State and we only brought our cappuccino machine with us to Oregon. We haven't used it very much however. Most of our syrups and glasses are also in storage back in the other State. Someday we'll get all our things together with us. Hopefully when we finally move for the match.

BTW we had our first over night freeze this last week and the leaves are really turning here now. I'm going to take dh on a 2 hours scenic drive to Corvallis. I've been told the loop between HWY 99W and Peoria Rd. (HWY 99E) is really lovely this time of year with the fall leaves turning. I would take the drive today but traffic is the heaviest this weekend with two huge football games today between Oregon and Washington. The Ducks and the Beavers are playing the Cougars and the Huskies so lots of traffic on those roads right now. Maybe we'll go next weekend. It's mostly farmland along the river to see but it will be a nice breather and maybe we'll stop in Corvallis for some lunch.
