Just last week I stepped down as president from my city's resident spouse group!
It was a good experience but after two years I was ready to let someone else take over leadership.

I fertilized and seeded the bald patches in our front yard.
I also purchased a bunch of plants/herbs for the front garden bed.
I can't wait to plant them.

I didn't tie it on her very well, and it's on the large size for her right now, but I shipped off the mei tai and will be finishing 3 more this week!

                That is adorable Jen!

Today I had my 82 year old neighbor over for dinner. He brought me flowers because he knows I like them. I need to reach out to the elderly in my neighborhood more often. My kids don't have any family of that generation and their stories are dying with them... The elderly make me nostalgic.

Did I mention that Jack calls me Sally? I have no idea why and Caleb is completely confused by the fact that I haven't bothered to correct him...

Because you look like a Sally??? I love the few octogenarian family members we have left. The things they lived through!

Thanks! I still have to finish the couple others, but I'm enjoying the process

Today, DH and I went to a "birth movement" workshop. I'm trying to avoid the "turtle on its back" birth I had last time.

We hung pictures today. Our rental house is starting to look less like a place we're camping out in between homes.

First day I have been back to the gym since the cold. Taking it slow on a 3 mile run. No weights

But it is progress. Amazing how fast u lose ur fitness level.

Washed and put away 6 loads of laundry (ok, minus the drip dry stuff thats still drying)
Created 3 weeks of lesson plans (its for a 2.5 year old, so they aren't that intense)
                              Began cleaning the kitchen
Began the overhaul of organizing my bedroom

Tomorrow: finish laundry, finish kitchen, clean bathroom. Try to work on bedroom a little more.

Can you tell my mom is coming in town on Thursday?

Once I get my bedroom organized we are buying a new bed! We were going to wait until we moved after residency but our backs are telling us that isn't an option.

We laid some wed cloth and relocated a metric shit ton of rock. Also, began throwing around some ideas for landscaping and potential additions.
