Hi everyone! I am so relieved to finally post! I signed up a few days ago but do to glitches in the system I kept getting denied when I wanted to post on the forums! A big hug and thanks to Kris for all her help in getting things straightened out!
I am a SAHM. I have 3 kiddos my son is 3 soon to be 4 (beginning of Oct.) My daughters are 2&1/2 and 11 mos. We moved 2,000 miles away from all friends and family almost 2 years ago for his first private practice job as an interventional cardiologist. Needless to say I have not enjoyed the move or his workaholism...He has privileges at 6 hospitals & he goes to four daily. I keep telling him it's not a professional necessity to be gone from the house between 6:00/6:30 AM to 9:00 PM regularly. He has a partner(Jr like him) that stops everything and heads home no later than 6:00 almost everyday. Another partner(Sr) has a PA , and therefore is able to have a life...Even if he left early and even if he had a PA I still would not be happy w/ where we live... PLEASE for those of you out there that have "been there done that" tell me how you learned to love a new city that is the antithesis of what you wanted in life...we live in Phoenix...and I just can not get over missing the seasons...friends / family...it's going on 2 years and I want desperately for him to consider moving back to the mid-West.
