Besides, I was just listening to NPR about this very topic on the Diane Rehm show and apparently back when HRC was running, someone in McCain's audience asked him "so how are we going to beat this bitch." and he response was apparently to laugh and clap him hands.

That's not going to win him very many HRC fans. I am going to try to find the YouTube link, just because I want to see it for myself.

What a lovely southern woman. How hard would it have been to START his comment with "Now, now - we need to stay civil. I presume you're referring to Senator Clinton"

I have purposefully tried to stay out of all things political on this website, but that little clip along with McCain's recent befuddlement over exactly how many houses he owns are pretty atrocious little tidbits. His failure to chastise this supporter is such a low class error.

FWIW, I'm sort of neutral about McCain, if the truth be known. There are some things I like about his platform and others I don't.

I so miss my :: icon. It was my favorite. I'll have to make due with just the memory of the ing smiley.

Just wanted to tell everyone rooting for the Democratic candidates: Good luck with your convention tonight!



The protests outside of it look kind of wild already - but I think that could actually help Obama by distancing himself from the more radical political elements.
