Tom and Katie: Is it real?

Did you hear the Brooke Shields response to his criticism? She told him to mind his own business, and then said that if he and Katie would like to see her current play on Broadway she'd leave them free tickets at the door. One adult, one child.

OK, I've finally figured out what I think about Tom Cruise and it isn't a particularly pleasant realization (especially since I love many of his movies): He's got a similar personality to my EX-brother-in-law. 'Nuff said.

Thanks for asking, Annie! Our little guy should be here any day now! As of Wed I was 3 cm dilated. If he doesn't arrive in the next few days then my doctor is going to break my water on Friday morning.....DH's vacation starts on the 1st so I am crossing my legs and standing on my head in hopes that I'll make it till then! I'm still feeling great, but I cannot wait to get out of these pitiful looking maternity clothes!!

Here's my latest Tom Cruise theory. I think he's off his meds. It explains the hostility towards psychotropic drugs ("They just mask the problem" ) and the sudden personality change. Manic-depressive -- and just a tad paranoid? See, I can play this MD without the degree game, too.

OK- I lost the tiniest bit of respect when he divorced Mimi Rogers, I lost a TON of respect for him when he divorced Nicole. But jeez o flip, the man has LOST it. My friend and I were discussing tonight that he's pretty much cancelled any chance of us ever seeing any of his movies again.

(he also says that Scientology cured his dsylexia...not that maybe he learned to adapt and suddenly had enough money to hire people to do stuff for him, nooooo that couldn't have been it!)

Angie, I a gree with you. He must be manic/depressive and off his meds, I have seen it too many times in the ER. How dare him to talk about post partum depression. When he delivers a baby and deals with the hormonal fluctuations, then he can speak. NOT UNTIL THEN. I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION.

I watched the rerun of his appearance on the Oprah show.

The interview with Matt Lauer is being rerun next week sometime. I will be sure to tune in.

I don't think he's off his meds--I'm sure he never took them since he's been a scientologist for years, but maybe now he needs them and isn't going to get them.

You can put him with Michael Jackson and Britney Spears on the list of Celebrities Who Are Supposed to Be Entertaining, But Instead Just Make Me Uncomfortable.

I agree completely. DH has an Aunt that is a Scientologist, and she has the same beliefs that Tom does (from what I've seen on TV ). Some of the things I've heard her say/do are really quite strange. But anyway, I was also even thinking that Tom would have to go in the same catagory as Michael Jackson. :|

Maybe he was on meds and Scientology helped him finally kick the habit? Imagine the shame of continuing to use them when you are surrounded by people who think they are evil in a pill.
I haven't seen either of his performances on Oprah or Today...but it sounded interesting! And way to go, Matt Lauer, for not lobbing him soft questions for the entire interview!

I like Matt Lauer, too, and a little moreso after hearing about the interview. I've pretty much crossed Tom Cruises movies off of my list. He is way too full of himself.
