Phew! Most of my capri pants are the longer ones that are really cropped pants. Disaster averted.

But, oh was I a disaster of failed elastic on Saturday night. The shame.

I don't mean to insult anyone but NOBODY should be wearing a skort past the age of 5.

        Uh oh. I own five.

It's the only way I can wear a short skirt with the kids.

I'm officially an outcast in this forum.

Ok, I'm officially about to have heart palpitations. It's a good thing I have Lily and Stella on my side. I don't think I can take the rest of you on alone. I don't even know where to start. I do have to say though that skorts bother me a LOT more than (unrolled) capris.

Please tell me you're not wearing those skorts with Birks.

I have these in all different colors which I wear with my yoga-skirts:

yes, my mom works for victoria's secret.

I can't wear most shoes because my feet are a mess. These beat the orthopedic nursing shoes.

So, are you telling me that I'm beyond help?

I don't wear mom jeans anymore

                Hey Vishenka-

I'm with you! I accept that they make me look short, fat and dumpy. I actually removed most 'capris' from the closet when we moved. I have a few pairs of ankle length pants left.

I even paid to get all of my outlet pants purchases hemmed and taken in where necessary.

Kelly, the shoes are ok but you need a serious skort intervention.

Annie, no issues with naked. At least you're not breaking any rules. with your new look.

Oh, good lord. I just caught up on the last two pages of this thread...

Skorts? Skorts?! Are you serious??!! :thud:

Kelly, forget about capris. We need to start from square zero.

Dear God people ... are there really 5 pages on capris? Really? This is almost as embarrassing as 300 pages on Tom and Katie.

I'm never giving up my heels either! I rock 4" when I feel like it and go no lower than 2" - I'm 5'2 on a good day so I need all the help I can get.

Rock on Tara! I'm never giving up my heels! I can run, dance, jump, skip, carry heavy loads, drive, cook, clean, and shop in heels. I can't imagine ever NOT wanting to wear my heels - and about 80% of them are 3.5-4 inches. If I can't wear heels, I can't have kids.

                                So how are these shorts:
                                http://www1.bloomingdales.com/catalog/p ... -1*-1*-1*1
Obviously, I don't think I am going to get that pair . Would something like this be OK for petites to wear?

Oh, and Kelly. . .titlenine has some great skorts! I'm tempted. . .very tempted. I mean how will anyone know? It's not like I'm going to hang upside down on the bars at the park.

I want to be fashionable. I really do. I want to ditch the capris since I am already impossibly short and I don't want to wear a sweatsuit to the park. But today we were outside on the cement, in the sandbox, sitting in the grass looking at mud. . .a girl has to be realistic. So what does a girl in this situation wear?
