Re: Do you make the bed(s) every day?

I might straighten the comforter a bit but that's about it (and only happens a few times a week). I think I've used the bedspread and shams may be 3-4 times in the past year. Usually I just close the bedroom door if anyone is visiting.

I go through phases on this one too. Sometimes I really get into making the bed. I love getting into a crisply made bed....but...if I don't get to it by noon, it usually doesn't happen!

Making the bed is the major task that my kids have to finish in order to be allowed to play, etc each day.

I'm with Crystal that making the bed improves my mood for the day. If it isn't made, I walk by it and feel like it is something I should be attending to.

DH is always up before me and frequently gone before I am out of bed. When we first got married, we made a deal that whoever gets up last makes the bed. It has stuck and now I always stuck with making the bed! (The alternative of waking up before him or getting out of bed before he leaves so he can make it is not compelling enough).

Count me in the "make the bed" category.

Nope only when I'm changing the sheets. I do love how it looks and feels, but I'm just too lazy. We don't even use the flat sheets, just the fitted ones because they get in the way.

Both DD's have bunk beds and those are a nightmare, so I just ask that the try their best to straighten out their comforters. I'm not a stickler for it though.
