I'll bite; Autumn is my FAVORITE SEASON!

The smell of cold rain, mixing with smoke from chimneys, on a chilly evening.
Halloween - costumes, fall festivals, bake sales, trick or treaters, jack o lanterns.
Stews - mmmm, especially ones with venison in them

Oh, I love everything about fall (of course fall doesn't get here until sometime in November )! I love the smells, the cool mornings, Halloween, the excitement about upcoming holidays, really everything.

Yay autumn! Not sure if I can pick just three, but I will give it my best shot.

Crock-Pot meals. We are big on using it during the fall/winter, as it makes great stews and chilis. I even have a cookbook that allows you to make a meal for one night and then use the leftovers for the next night's meal. Yummy!

Football. I love football, college and pro. It always feel like fall when I'm at a football game, even if it's 85 degrees and humid.

Corn mazes. DF and I have gone to this awesome intricate maze not too far from our house for the past few years. It's a lot of fun and we always have apple cider and cider donuts afterwards. We are looking for a new location for this year's visit, since we've moved a couple of hours away from our old favorite.

And I have to add pumpkin. I love them as decorations, I will be putting up my fall decorations next week. And I love baking with it. Can't wait to make pumpkin cookies and bread (I'm practicing great restraint, as it is still kind of warm and muggy here).

            AHHH! I LOVE AUTUMN!

I dragged a load of my college friends to one last year--it was a blast. The year before I dragged them to a pumpkin patch--we were the only people there above 10 years and under 40.

            2. Pumpkin Spice Lattes

            3. The autumn section at Hobby Lobby. When I have a bad day, I like to go wander around in it. My entire apartment is decked out in fall stuff right now--and I'm a college student.

Thanks! I will have DF start looking at these websites to narrow down our possibilities!

-I love the cooler nights - great weather for sleeping in, snuggled under a pile of quilts.
-The kiddo is in school so I can actually get stuff DONE!
-Walks in the crisp air, you don't get so over heated and sweaty. I don't do sweaty.

Winter is my favourite season but I like fall because....

                          - I can wrap up, be it in warm clothes or snuggling under a quilt on the sofa.
                          - I can stop worrying about being so pale.
                          - I can wear nice skirts with boots. Winter is too cold to pull this off.
