So we are moving for his fellowship (god willing the match does not fail us!). We will be at minimum 5 hours driving distance of where we have both lived for our entire lives. He told me he is tired of traveling from all the interviews and that when he matches, he'd like me to just pick out where we live. So I guess I'll be roadtripping with my parents to go find a new place. My friends cannot fathom that he doesn't care and trusts my judgment on this.

We did the same thing. I went and picked all of our houses, even this last one, without DH. He loved all of them- I know what he likes!
