It's my theory that the Brits wear the hats to distract everyone from their teeth.

I thought the hats were fun. Where else would you wear something like that?

Haha, they definitely resulted in me having a lot of fun talking about them. I would only wear something like that if I was being paid to do it. Especially the toilet seat one.

The hats were hilarious!! I thought most of them were cute and tasteful, but the one's who weren't (aka toilet seat! lol) were just down right wrong! What were they thinking! lol

I've started checking out the knockoffs...none of them seem to look very good, even on models! Including those made by the "better brands" vs David's Bridalesque type places. I'm wondering how well the design will really translate to being mass made.

                Here's a couple:

                http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/js-colle...glK0tbyh162k_g

                http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/ente..._could_be.html

                And then there is this:

                Kate's hand-made dress cost $66,500 and Pippa's was $33,245.
Holy Crap! I get paying that much for the wedding gown, but 30k+ for that bridesmaid's dress...wasn't expecting that!

She wore the hell out if it, though. All "glute" exercises in my pilates class are now known as "working your Pippa". My instructor chants "I will. Be able. To wear a white silk dress!". (we have another exercise that works the muscle in your front hip area that she calls "the Beckham" )

I know that Kate's dress will be auctioned off to benefit various charities and William and Charles support which I think is brilliant. Hopefully one of the fashion related museums will buy it because they would instants make back the money on admission charges!

Love it! I hear she has a Facebook group dedicated to her derriere--I wonder what that feels like!

There are lots of them, some more ... ICK than others. I looked the other day after seeing a blurred out FB screen on a "news" report, and was at first amused, then appalled. One guy had written "Hi. I'd really like to have sex with you. That is all."

How's that working for ya, buddy? ICK!!!!!

Welcome to the famous life. UGH! Anyone else think her "I'm going to stay out of the public life for 2 years and be a housewife = I'm going to try to get pregnant?" Or maybe being here has colored my vision.

So what happens if she has male twins? I thought about this last night. I don't know that is has ever been an issue before, but in this day and age of older mothers and fertility drugs, it is more of a possibility!

she's only 29, so she doesn't fall into "older mothers". I would assume that the first born twin is the heir.

Well, I mean if they chose to put off children, or just in general. I wouldn't be surprised if she waited longer to have children. Diana had her kids in her early 20s and previous to that it has always been a lot younger--it's a big change either way.
