I've found downloading the audiobooks to be cumbersome. But that may be because I don't read the directions and just do it the way I think it should be done....... and it never works! 8 ) It always takes me 3 times longer than it should. You'd think I'd learn......... 8 )Cranky Wife to a Peds EM in private practice. Mom to 5 girls - 1 in Heaven and 4 running around in princess shoes.

The new Kindle Paperwhite is perfect. I have a new Kindle, but might be upgrading soon....

I use the kindle app on my iPad, but my iPad is starting to fail. (SAY IT ISN'T SO!!!!) I'm thinking of getting a kindle for the lending purposes, plus I just got a free prime account for 6 months (student) and I think that offers benefits for kindle owners(?).
I still love to head to the library and browse books, particularly for titles I want to read but not necessarily purchase. I don't know how other areas do it, but our library system is four counties banded together and you can request books or DVDs from any library within the system for free. They also have quite a few audiobooks/ebooks for download, but the selection still isn't that great, plus for the popular stuff you have to wait weeks.
I wish there was a netflix for book streaming or something, your could rent ebooks on amazon. I would purchase a LOT more if I could rent it for a week for a couple bucks.
