  • Snowmaggedon is heading for the East Coast. Concern is slowly rising to panic, which I expect to be going full force by tomorrow afternoon.

Oh and this storm is named Nemo. Ha.

See, I just can't take that shit seriously.

How much are you guys projected to get? So far, they're calling for 8-12" here.

I am so glad it isn't us this time. I am over winter. Completely over it.

        • Brrrr! 46 and no sunshine yet. That a might but chilly by Texas standards. I'm glad I wore a tank top under my sweater.

How did you make out in the storm?

It is 25 here but feels colder. I am very much looking forward to Florida on Monday. There are no words to convey the level of anticipation.

                • We got about 6 inches, and our power was out for four hours last night! It was harrowing, because one of my classes had a quiz due by midnight (online) and I was freaking out that I wouldn't be able to take it. Came back on at 11:30, though. Phew!!

                    • Terrible bitter hard winds. We got about a foot of snow. Probably more w/o the winds.

                      • We only got 6 inches, but 1/2 inch is too much for me. DH is the opposite, he was upset we didn't get slammed. Of course, he is never here when it is time to shovel.

Here in BA it's in the 90s (however, I prefer cold weather to warm and kind of wish I was having a snow day. Good weather for baking and coffee-drinking) I have a 4-day weekend due to Carvaval and am spending it in the pool or tooling around the kitchen.
