Pumpkin patch for us tomorrow too! Last year we froze our heinies off. Unfortunately this lovely weather is supposed to move on by the afternoon, and it sounds like we'll be lucky to avoid thunderstorms by soccer practice -- tomorrow is 50% chance of rain, so I guess I'm dressing my kindergartener in his full rain suit for the walk from school to the pumpkins.

Our pumpkin patch field trip is in the morning, so maybe it'll still be dry for us. It includes a train ride, petting zoo, and guided tour. For a city girl this is kind of a nightmare. .

Hot and humid. Supposed to be getting cooler dryer weather this weekend.

Mid 80s all week, until Friday. Then, a 30 degree temp drop, complete with rain.
            Great hiking weather!

Same weather as Michele mentioned, except no humidity.

Low to mid 80s, very sunny. It hasn't rained here in forever; my grass is parched. It's strange because I had to rake up a bunch of leaves from the backyard last week but it was so hot out that I was soaked in sweat by the time I was done. That just doesn't seem right. Next week it's supposed to be low to mid 70s. I hope it stays there this time and doesn't creep back up. I miss crisp fall air. I don't think they get that down here. Le sigh...

Huge thunderstorms overnight and more this morning. Looks like rain for most of the day.

It has dropped 15 degrees since we got up this morning, we've only been up for an hour!

                      Yikes!

We got 1.5" of rain overnight and it is still coming down.

I know, crazy! I knew it was supposed to cool off but I walked out on the deck this morning and it was still very warm and very humid, then about 15 minutes later I heard it raining, then I took Molly out and about froze! Don't get me wrong 50's and 60's are my favorite and we're supposed to be in the 50's for the foreseeable future I just wasn't expecting it to happen that fast!

Ugh, SJ, that would be why I couldn't live in the Mountain West!

The number one sign you have gotten a lot of rain? The puddles in your street have waves in them from the breeze.

The snow's totally nice, actually. Elegant, not icy, didn't stick to the roads. And even if it snows all through tomorrow, which it might, it'll likely all have melted by the end of the weekend. That's my preferred kind of snow.

Today I am very grateful that it is in the 50's here because this would be an apocalyptic amount of snow.
