  • It's 34 here. People are wearing sandals and shorts. 40 would be a heat wave. :-/

    • It's been in the 40s the last two days. Yep, I'm also wearing only a t-shirt and a fleece. Screw winter.

Can you setup a hose-siphon system? That sounds dreadful.

        • Shop vac! That does sound awful, HoW. It should all be melted soon.

          • Since the water is only an inch deep, there really isn't a good way to set up a siphon, believe me, I thought about it. Besides, it would have to run uphill.

            • I probably shouldn't complain that I got hot today. It was super muggy, then it rained and actually cooled down a bit.

              • and I am snowed in... again. Why does it always snow when DH is on call? He just left for work. It started around 7pm last night and its still coming down so it looks like unless I pay someone to dig me out, I am stuck for a while. Its march isn't it? Its MID March. Spring technically starts in 4 days... Thank goodness for San Diego next year.

Ugh, that stinks! Isn't it always the case that they are at work when we need them to shovel? Hope you can get out soon.

Snowing here, but it's on the light side. Everything has become coated in the last half hour, which I am sure will make for a wonderful commute. Just over an hour south of here, my family has 4-6 inches of snow and schools are closed. This type of snow is a PITA while it is happening, but disappears super quickly. The temps will rise throughout the week and it will be 60 by the weekend.

You deserve San Diego after this winter!

                      • 75 and sunny with a light breeze. In a word, perfect.

Now if it would just stay like this for the next 6 months and not get any hotter, that'd be swell.

                        • I'm in love with today's weather! Sunny with a high of 75 (Relient K anyone?)

I agree, if it could just stay this way all summer, that would be fantastic.

                          • I woke up on match day with the worst cold ever or the worst tree pollen allergies ever. Worse than the day it all started a week ago. Terrible timing and feels like a miserable cold. Ugh. Fuck you Spring! Ya I cursed. That way you know I'm serious. It's kicking my ass this season.

                              • Jealous! I'd definitely go for a bike ride right now, even if it was 36 out. My bike, sadly, is in storage 8 hours away. I can't wait to have all my stuff back! I'd really love the bike today... 71 and mostly sunny.
