Pretty B! I aspire to have one of those trees that look like they're out of a magazine, but I also have so many of my own "fun" ornaments that I'd definitely need two trees to do it. Anddddd I think it'll take a few years to convince DH that I NEED two trees!!

100% real. I remembered last night why I hate having fake trees while putting out our porch decorations. Putting them together and fluffing them out makes me nuts. I would rather find pine needles for a whole year than make branches pretty.

My dad takes great pride in making his branches just so - and every year my mom complains that they look like claws. It's a sort of family tradition

LOL. I would definitely prefer to have a real tree, but I just can't be bothered with going out and getting it. I don't like pre-cut because they dry out too quickly and I end up barking at the kids the entire time we are tromping through the tree farm making the outing miserable for everyone. In short, I need Sven to pick out my tree and bring it home for me.

I'm not happy with the ribbon placement, and our star is getting returned

My grandma made the tree skirt, and growing up our family had coordinating stockings that she made as well. Aubrey has a nice Pottery Barn Kids stocking, and DH wants to get coordinating ones for us.

So everybody does white lights, huh?

My husband insists on colored lights. He has the aesthetic sense of a 4-year-old.

Hehe I love the multi-colored lights, but DH likes solid, and we got a good deal on the prelit tree. Maybe when we get a real tree, our compromise will be that I get to put colorful lights on it!

Our new tree has both, so we hash it out daily.
