Thirteen, do you know what I'm talking about? The bridges over freeways? I cannot walk across one. I'm ok with heights but all the cars whizzing underneath? No.

Dead bodies, although that has gotten better. A few years ago I wouldn't go in or near a cemetery. They still make me uneasy. Not a fear of death either.

Also, nasty pool and shower bottoms. You won't get me in a pool that is cracking and peeling.

When we moved in our shower had been refinished. There is a dripping leak in there (Long story as to why we haven't fixed it) and the refinishing was not done well so it is peeling and we can see why they had to refinish it...ewwww. A huge chunk came off the shower floor and I am so grossed out. It was hard to take showers until I bought a shower mat and you can bet we are redoing it as soon as I get my bonus next year.

Flying. Like I almost always want to cry unless the ride is completely smooth. I can usually keep it together but it's not easy.

Ironic because I fly once a week. Reason#28283829 that I should find a new job.

I am like that about any mold...or anything that might resemble fungus or mold. But it is more of a gross out factor than a fear. To this day, I cannot eat blue cheese after babysitting my friends artisan cheese company while they were on vacay. The blue cheese is kept in this dark cabinet and you have to poke the furry blue stuff growing ON it so it can the the veins. Blech.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

              Phobias - got any?

I just thought of one! Food going bad - I worry about anything that gets left out, especially meat and dairy.

I also am afraid to eat things past their expiration dates.

My ILs leave butter out permanently. It's so weird to me. DH and I won't touch it. I can't figure out the logic behind that when it's clearly dairy

As long as it's covered and consumed within a few weeks, it's perfectly fine. Makes buttering toast easier. We only use it cooking so keep in fridge all the time.

I'm not sure if these are phobias or fears...
Driving in cities. Heavy traffic. Being blocked in by tractor trailers. On the highway. House/building fires. Being trapped.
Bugs. Biting bugs. Horse/deer fly and those little black gnats. Ugh. The lumps they leave!!

Did not know this. Have to admit, in my head it did not make sense why this would be okay because of the cream thing. The more you know (insert jingle here)

                            Particularly if it is salted.

Driving anywhere hilly where the car can slide back, especially at a red light.
