Congrats Julie! We're almost done with the first 12 weeks! I know what you mean about being tired. Some days, I'm afraid I will fall asleep at my desk! And then going home to my 2 year old - wow! Just watching her run around makes me sleepy!

Ladybug - yes - I am doing daily fragmin shots and lots of extra folic acid. I think I switch to real heparin at 36 weeks or so.

Has anyone else done fragmin shots or other shots in their belly? I was told that I can...but the legs hurt so much, I'm afraid to try it in the belly. Does it hurt less than the legs or bottom?

Kate - I take my fertility drugs in the belly. I haven't tried the other areas but other then an initial sting when the needle goes in I don't think they hurt in the belly.

Has anyone heard from Pinkpickles? I presume her new baby has made his entry into the world?

I haven't heard from her. I think her c-section was scheduled for Thursday, so her little guy should be a few days old by now, God willing. Hope we hear from her soon and it all went well!

Yes, she delivered as scheduled and all went well! Somewhere I have the stats so I'll find them and post.

We're having a girl. Probably. The tech said 90% it's a girl. Ninety percent is kind of an annoying number to me, but I will practice my deep breaths.

I confess my husband wanted a girl, so that's good (though, believe me, he would be nothing less than thrilled with a boy, either).

The downside is that while we had agreed upon a boy's name months and months ago, we're pretty stumped in our girls' names discussion. We have a viable shortlist, but unlike with the boys' shorlist, no name is rising up to definitively conquer the other names on the list and become THE NAME.

Maybe I'll start a thread on it and you can all give me the baby name smackdown.

Julie - CONGRATS! I have to tell you we're exactly the opposite, we have a girls name but not a clue on a boys name!

                      A girl, how exciting!

Congrats Julie! Its such a lovely feeling when the tech tells you isn't it?

We were the opposite, lots of girls names, and near blow up arguments over boys names I hated his choice, and he kept vito'ing mine so I'd eventually agree to his choice, thankfully we could leave that argument right there thanks to 2 scans

Ok gang - help me out. I'm 14w2d today and I'm having a REALLY hard time with food. I'm not sick or nauseous, I just can't find anything to eat that sounds good and then is good when I actually eat it.

I eat my Cheerios for breakfast and my yogurt for morning snack without issue. I can eat fruit and cheese but meals have been an issue. We went out to dinner Saturday night and I ordered the Chicken Penne b/c I figured I could at least eat the pasta, nope the flavor/smell just did me in and I ate about a 1/3 of it. Then last night DH ordered pizza, I thought that sounded good until I saw it, then I could only eat about 1/2 a piece.

                          HELP!

Same boat here. It will pass.

I'm finding that I just need to stick with the 'tried and true' tolerable things, and wait for the variety to return with the energy ...

Congratulations Julie, I love little girls. My two are "Amy Claire" and Judith Caroline". Caroline is still annoyed that her middle name is her name because it is a PITA sometimes.

As far as finding food, it should get better. Hang in there.

With this pregnancy I was in the same boat. Also a lot of foods just didn't taste the same??!?? anyway until about 20 weeks I think I was living on cocopops and tropicano orange juice. It did past and one day I wasnted a curry and a cup of coffee again and it tasted normal.
