I thought that was my job.

Right after we had moved for med school, C, who was about 2 at the time, was racing down the sidewalk with a stick in each hand shrieking, "Momma, MOMMA, I got two dicks!" Welcome to the neighborhood!

Did my kid just say that?

This thread restores my faith in humanity.

Today, DS told me, "Look, mom -- I can kick my own butt!" And then showed me his newly discovered skill. I'll be reminding him that he can kick his own ass once he needs his head removed from it come high school.

The other day, I was explaining to K1 that we plan to give Lambie a "real" name when she is born for school and stuff. He said, "But I can still call her Lambie because that's my love name. "

She will be 35 and he will still be calling her Lambie. So very sweet.

                          • There's an SNL skit for everything.

DD insists that when she and DS grow up, they'll get married. I guess I don't make being married to daddy a very desirable option.
