If she will drink from the bottle, what about sacrificing a nipple and opening it up further to allow pureed fruit to pass? Chocolate or strawberry pediasure with smidge of banana added. Not a lot of the solid because it will definitely change the texture, but say an 1" worth of banana into a serving of pediasure.

There are play groups for babies and toddlers with feeding issues here! I found that out from the occupational therapist last week, and I think we're going to join one. Every week is a potluck/picnic-type setup, so it's all about having food out and kids grazing.

Or strawberry so that she doesn't get more constipated...

My DD eats best while playing or watching TV. So I'm either chasing her around with a sandwich getting her to take bites on the go. Or (like right now), we sit and watch sesame street and I shovel in bites of food. When I tried to do it without TV, she ate half as much food and it was a constant battle. I know she doesn't have the issues your DD has, but I wanted to share our story.

I was just going to suggest opening a nipple up a bit. Cross cut it like an "x" to allow thicker material through. Maybe something like a banana, vanilla ice cream, and vanilla Pediasure smoothie/shake?

I'm sure you're concerned about nutrition, but at some point it's OK to give yourself permission to let her eat junk if it helps her keel some weight.

TV or no tv doesn't make a difference in how much dd eats. Sure she prefers to have the tv on, but she constantly wanted me to change the channel (from Wiggles skit to Wiggles skit). I'm so glad we've divorced ourselves from the Wiggles. They had their place a few months ago during feedings, but it doesn't make a difference anymore in the amount dd eats.

I have a list of high-calorie shakes for dd. I've got to be careful, because of dd's lactose sensitivity. We give her Lactaid whole milk. Do any of you have a rec for a lactose free brand of ice cream?

                  My head is spinning.

There are a couple rice milk ice creams out that are supposed to be pretty decent. I think one is called "Rice Dream".

the rice dream ice cream is pretty decent. Otherwise, I would hit up the local health food store and try out a bunch to see what is the most tolerable (to you). If YOU think it is nasty, chances are M will too.

Does she eat things off the floor? That was always my
Kids fav past time. Sersly. Lol. Anything and everything went in
The mouth off the floor. Scatter some cherios on
The floor. See if she picks them up and eats them.
You've gotten some great ideas. I hope your beautiful little miss M eats soon and stops stressing you out.
                        Big big hugs!!!

We have a bit of a household ant issue, so I don't want to leave food out for too long. That's why we are so AR about keeping the floor clean... Once I found a trail of ants going into my diaper bag. They wanted to get to dd's formula powder. Euuuuggggghghghghh!

This constant eating and feeding is hard on my own relationship with food. I always eat dd's leftovers....

Have you tried ant traps? We found them to be pretty effective with the post-apocalyptic ants we encountered in AZ.
