Just an FYI - the City Mini is not a jogging stroller :/ I'd check out consumer reports - not just for their actual ratings, but more to read the pluses and minuses they list for each stroller. I'm getting a new double stroller once H is out of her infant seat...

We have this double: http://www.diapers.com/p/britax-b-ag...%7Bkeyword%7D#
Seriously it is the best double we've ever owned and I am a stroller connoisseur, lol. It still fits dd5 comfortably and works great even when I just have dd1 with me. Also holds an infant seat (although it might have to be Britax). We have no trouble getting through doors or tight spaces. I also like this one better than the City Mini.
I know people love Phil and Teds but I find that low back seat to be impractical and not really a nice place to put your child (that's just my opinion, no offense to anyone who loves that stroller ).Tara

I have a double BOB (new, great deal on Amazon) and a used city mini double. Honestly, I don't like the city mini that much and will likely sell and get something else. It's too similar to the BOB but isn't as good. It's still relatively heavy (major BOB complaint is that in/out of a car sucks) and it barely, barely fits thru doors.
At this point, I'm just using a single and wearing D. I'll figure out a double option in a few months (honestly it might be a double umbrella stroller) but maybe a sit and stand or something tandem.Married to a Urology Attending! (that is an understated exclamation point)

There's a double by uppa baby that has good reviews, but I don't think it's a jogger.

I loved the double Phil and Ted. It takes up little space for a double, since it's not wide. The back could be used for quite awhile for us (our kids are super tall and skinny) and sometimes my oldest would ride in the back. My kids both really liked riding in the back! If I did it all over again though, I probably would've babywore more and avoided the double all together. But it was nice for long walks. If you lived near me, I'd give you mine!

What about a Baby Jogger City Select with a second seat? No experience here, but I think they look super cute.

We have the City Mini GT double, and I love it. But, it is not a jogger. You can use it for a vigorous walk, lol! It does fit through doors, and my really tall almost five year old still fits in it. I also like how it folds up better than the Bob.Wife to a urologist; Mom to 2 wonderful kiddos

Double Stroller
We have the Phil and Ted and I've loved it. It's compact and I like that it can be a single too. We had dd in the carseat on top and DS on bottom. He was 3.5 and just under the weight limit (33 lbs). It was a tight fit for him but he liked his "special seat". Now that dd is older we've switched her to the back when we have them both in there but ds would usually prefer to walk. I love the air filled tires. They are great walking through grass or gravel. We've also used it as a jogger in single mode, i don't know how well that would work as a double. I would think you would be kicking the second seat and I'd be worried about the kid in the bottom grabbing the tire or something. There are things I don't like about the one we have, but they fixed those things in the newer versions. I love strollers and there are lots of great double options out there right now. Have fun with your test drives.Wife of Anesthesiology Resident

Why can't I just design the stroller I want and someone can build it??? Gah!
We had the Chicco double, but it was hard to steer, cumbersome to turn, I felt far from the kid in the front, and DDs like to see/touch each other. We bought a Simmons double umbrella stroller about a month ago, and the damn thing is broken. I liked it mostly otherwise, but it is super cheaply constructed.
Lay your suggestions on me. Must haves: side-by-side (not tandem)
Cup holder for me (ok if have to buy separately)
Both seats recline
Easy to take in and out of car
Easy to push with one hand
I don't jog, but I would like it to have OK grass/park handling. If we have a third kiddo, it won't be for a while (like H will be three or older), so car seat compatibility is a non-issue.
We may be going to Buy Buy Baby tomorrow at the earliest or this weekend. HELP!

We love the BOB for all the reasons you listed EXCEPT the weight in/out of the car.
We are now the proud owners of a Maclaren double umbrella stroller that I got for $60 (retails for like $300) at a consignment sale. It's our car double while we use the BOB for travel and jogging.
Coincidentally, #3 child will have to wait until C is old enough to ride a bike alongside mommy bc a triple BOB does not exist.Married to a Urology Attending! (that is an understated exclamation point)
