  • I've already told Michele this but my legs have been really sore for the last 3 days. I know I need to take a day off and recover but I just feel so much better after I exercise! Why can't I be as addicted to dieting?

      • Okay, I'm joining in. I clearly need the accountability. My sister is getting married June 22. I'd like to lose 10 pounds by then. I know it doesn't sound like much ... but my body loves my current weight and getting it to budge will be a big challenge.

          This is where I am. I have to fight so hard to be a few pounds thinner. I was below this weight for the last 4 years, but now....

            • Ugh - I was doing okay for a while, then the stress of dipshit got to me. I HAVE to get the eating under control and begin exercising more regularly. I have to. It really sucks.

              • So. I've been eating like a normal person and am officially up TWENTY-THREE POUNDS. This morning I showed 0.8 pounds from my highest weight ever.

                So what do I mean by a normal person? 1500-1800 cals a day.

                I'm resigning myself to being chubby forever.

                    Also - does anyone know if there is a way to get myfitness pal to work with lose it? I'd love to join that group you guys have, but I really like mfp

                    • I've also realized I just need to totally give up wine. I've had a few glasses the last two nights (bc my monthly friend arrived - so depressing) and I totally notice a huge difference already. So I have to cut it out totally. (I keeping telling myself this will be last month so it's ok - but it just isn't true!).

                      • I have had a few bad days in the last week...and I am up 5lbs. Ugh. I'm up 6 from where I was at thanksgiving. Despite weeks of dieting, I feel like my body just doesn't want to let go of this weight...and I want all the foods! Yesterday was a particularly bad day and getting back on track will suuuuuck. I leave for vacation Friday (during which I will not be dieting). Here's hoping the weather warms and I stop eating so damn much!

                          This is me too. Sucks. It almost sucks more to see I passed on this miracle metabolism to my daughter.
