This week I lost 6.4. Just healthy eating and no sugar, nothing extreme. I think that when I put 8.4 pounds on so fast, they could come off so fast too.
Good for you! This week I gained 6 thanks to eating my way through Europe. It was worth it. I’m back on plan now. Hope it comes off fast.
I need to hop on this thread. I was weighed at the cerebral palsy clinic last month......297lbs. That is beyond an all-time high. I had been bouncing between 240-280 for awhile and apparently just leapt right over that.

Jump on in. We’ve all been actively losing weight (with the exception of my week in Europe. But I gave myself a free pass.
How much do you want to lose? Do you have a specific program in mind?
I lost 5 pounds this week. I’ve been mostly on point with nutrition but I think there’s more to it. I swear my muscles were swollen from all of the mountain climbing, hiking, walking I did in Austria and that as I’ve recovered I’ve lost water weight. 😂 Or I retained water traveling. I don’t know. At least I’m almost back to my pre-Austria weight.
I like to stay within a certain range. Right now I am slightly over it. But, I'm scared of this getting out of control and regaining all I've lost. Advice, wisdom anybody?

Stop right there. Take a deep breath. This is a speed bump. You have had some small weight gains in the past but you’ve always turned it around and moved downward. I know it’s hard to feel safe in your new body, but trust it. Trust yourself. You’ve got this.
I won't be able to weight today due to the weather.
But, I suspect I would have lost weight. Because of how my body feels/looks, and because I ate really well this week. I'm glad to have a week off from weighing. Sometimes the whole weight loss/weighing thing is alot of pressure so it's nice to step back for a week.
It can be pressure. I was down 2 pounds yesterday and up .2 today. I know that’s not a lot, but I feel nervous about any upward swing. I’m down 48 pounds and am feeling like I’ll “never” be at -50.
Okay I need to confess...while I’ve remained active and steadfast with my workouts, my eating and DRINKING habits have been completely off the rails since Thanksgiving. Today is day one of a transformation challenge I’m doing with my husband and a couple friends. My husband and daughter are going vegan, and I’m going back to eating clean and religiously logging my food intake on Lose It. It’s an eight week challenge, but for me it’s really just getting back on the horse on my lifestyle change. I gained 7 pounds since Thanksgiving, and having this accountability with my friends is just the kick in the ass I need.
I just learned that the scale DH bought a couple years ago (Renpho) is actually a smart scale that has an app it connects to with Bluetooth. I downloaded the app this morning and created an account. It gave me TONS of data and I now know that I’m 26.5% body fat. It’s actually a little lower than I was expecting. I only wish I knew that my scale was smart before because now I’m dying to know what my body composition was when I first started or even how that changed over my holiday shenanigans. Oh well, I guess I’ll get to nerd out from now on.

Monday is weigh in day for me. Eating clean and logging my calories has shocked my system because I lost 5 pounds this week! I also worked out 6 days this week at Orangetheory PLUS I walked a 5K 3 days. My body fat % is down to 25.7%.
With my husband and daughter going vegan and cooking their own meals, it was a little challenging cooking for one, but honestly there were some days where it was nice because if I wasn’t hungry I could just blow off dinner or if I had a big lunch, I could save some to eat for dinner.
How’d everyone else do this week?
