Sorry...I forgot to post to this last night. Thanks, Heidi! I agree, I like the idea of a menu and people can make as many items as they want. Having a few options would help with any dietary restrictions as well.
I really like the Cook's Illustrated recipe for French Onion Soup but it is available only to web subscribers. I think I have the issue it was printed in. I haven't looked on epicurious. Heidi, did you find one?

Yes to the soup, yeas to the bundt cake (I made that three times last year ) and yes to somebody else organize this quick.
What about a veggie side? A salad? I've got a bunch of fresh spinach I'm working with tonight.....not that I want you to help me plan dinner or anything.Angie
