I heard that the BBC is going to start filtering out the noise from their broadcasts, now if we would just do the same. I wont miss it at all!!

PS- and it makes it seriously hard to hide that I'm trying to watch while at work.

So, Spain blew it today. Lost a bet to my son. He says they are overrated.

Holy cow! I couldn't get over HOW MANY chances Spain had @ scoring!
They just couldn't catch a break despite all of the GREAT looks and attempts!

My Spanish friend turned her phone off for the day. She's got too many Argentinian friends and didn't want to hear it.

My sister the fanatic is all about Spain. She was deeply upset.

And, England didn't beat Algeria....so there is still a chance that Algeria and Slovenia will advance from Group C. It's amazing that the favorites are not necessarily correct. Makes it fun to watch.

Yup! US is still in 2nd place. The winners of the next two matches advance! I want to see the US win--not another tie!

Completely and utterly. Yes, they tied it up but it should have been a win. grrr.

Seriously, I'm going to have to either start staying home from work when the Americans play or I'm going to get fired. WE WAS ROBBED!!!

and England... got was a bizarre match that was!

I'm so addicted. Dude has an all-day birthday party tomorrow so I'm heading to the Beethoven for the afternoon match-up. I"m sure they're all depressed because Germany lost but oh, well.

Our neighbors are German, and I know that they got up to watch the match at 4:30 this morning!
They've had their blinds closed all day (atypical for Germans). They're mourning in there!

I dunno. I think you win some, and you lose some, and you tie some. There are always going to be bad calls! Maybe this means they'll be tentative with their calls in the next US game.
