  • We have one TV. Primary for XBOX. I don't even know how to fully use it. Amazon Prime meets our needs.

We don't have any phone lines. My dad kept saying, "you need a landline. you need a landline." I said, no, we don't. "Well what if your cell phones got out." "Well what if your internet goes out, Dad, because your Ooma is VOIP"

    • We have a hard wired land line in the kitchen because I'm paranoid about power outage, etc. (We had Vonage for five years before but dumped them for cell only and the basic land line.)

We have a Samsung Smart Tv with wifi. No cable. We use Amazon Prime, Netflix and Hulu. The only thing that kills me is not having MLB access for Indians games unless I set up a shell account out of another market for it. Damn MLB better get with the times soon. I'm back with radio only games for this season.

Oh - and a ridiculous projection system with a wall sized screen for the Xbox. But it's worth it to have all the 17 year olds my son hangs with flock to my house after school.

      • I think we have to have a land line with Uverse, and we have a hard wired phone too for emergencies (i.e., hurricanes). We had one in TX too for our alarm system, because we were renting and it was the only way to get our alarm monitored without paying a ton to upgrade the system.

        • Today I am exhausted and so unmotivated. I need to get back in the habit of being productive at work, and I need to start going to bed earlier, but it's hard to get started.

            • Today, I am tired of family drama. If it's not my in-laws, it's my own idiot family members. They seriously need to just STFU and stay out of each other's bidness.

                • Today, the K Bros woke us up at 4:45 AM demanding that we cut the tags out of their pjs and give them breakfast. Now they are napping and I cannot fall asleep.

                    • Today is DH's birthday He's looking forward to not being in the hospital and sleeping in his own bed. Last year, he was on trauma, being yelled at. Residency sure does lower your expectations!

I'm so glad you were able to come meet me! It made a not-fun chore (kid's shoe shopping) a lot of fun!!!

Today is my birthday, and DH's vacation starts when he gets off work today! Both sets of grandparents are taking the kids for a night or two next week. Woo hoo!

                              • I am completely over my 4 year old's constant whining. Every time she opens her mouth, she is whining or crying about something and I can't stand it any more. THIS is the downside to extended visits with her dad.
