      • Today, I hung up the hammock I bought in Brazil more than a decade ago in my back yard. It makes me so happy to be able to do that.

            • Today I DH took the kids to his parents' house so I spent my time watching an episode of Downton Abbey and gluing flowers around a full-length mirror. I ran out of E6000 so I couldn't finish it, but my first-born loves it so far.

                • So cute!

As for reunions, I was hounded down for the 10 year but was able to dodge it. I hope that clues them in for the twentieth. I saw pictures and it was underwhelming with maybe a fifth of the class showing up.

                  • Most of my class still lives in the same one-horse town where we all attended school. I've found that most of the people I stay in regular contact with also moved away from the Billies of the Hills.

This is me exactly, haven't gone to my 10 or 15. 20 is in 2 years, we'll see...

                      • I have to say that for the most part, I've kept in touch with the classmates I liked and the rest of us have moved on. There were approximately 300 in our graduating class but only about 50 showed for the reunion.

                        • I was class president. We we probably never have a class reunion. I get bitched at every time I go home, since we didn't have a 10-year.
I'm just trying to make it out alive!

                          • Today I finish getting the utilities arranged for our new place.

Today I have six more days before the movers come and 9 until we leave Abq.

                            • Today, I found an album on iTunes that I have been watching for for YEARS! I purchased the cassette when I lived there in 1990 and nearly wore it out. That and I no longer have anything to play the cassette (if I could even find it). I am soooo stupidly happy. I love this album.

Legião Urbana – As Quatro Estações for my fellow lusophile.

Now to preview some Engenheiros do Hawaii to see which album it was that was popular back in the day. I am so glad that they have expanded their foreign selection.

ETA: I am so damn happy because I found the one from EdH, whom I saw in concert and it is a live version of it!
