      • I went to change DD this morning, unzipped her PJs, and there was no diaper! (I'll admit that my first thought was "Did I not put one on her??"). Houdini managed to unfasten the diaper while her jammies were still on, and shove said poopy diaper in her leg. I hope this was a fluke :/

        • I cannot get motivated to study the muscles. Ugh. Test on Monday, and I somehow have to remember all of these muscles, where they originate, insert, their function, if they're a prime mover or synergistic, etc. it gives me appreciation for all my DH knows (that I don't).

We have company (dh's friend from medical school and his family) coming into town tomorrow. He's an ENT in Nashville. Anyhow, I know I'm not going to get a lot of studying done this weekend with them here, which means I have to do it now. Ugh, do I really want to be a PA?

Back to sarcomeres and all the rest. Pttttth.

          • Was just told that I am a potential match for a patient needing a bone marrow transplant from the "Be the Match" registry. Called back, answered their questionnaire, and should know within the next 2 months if I'm their best match.

              • You can do it, Heidi! Does C (or you) have the Acland Anatomy videos? They're really good (I even learn from them!) He uses both sawbone models and cadavers.

                        • Today I was moaning about the fact we have no power and are loosing all our food. Then I spoke to my neighbor who told me that the tornado last night was 7 blocks from us. I've been out of touch with the storm results due to lack of power and poor phone service. I now feel a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach and am thankful that our house is still standing and we weren't hit directly.

                              • Had a fun BBQ. My sister helped me hang up patio lights. I've wanted these forever.

Downside...DH has a GI thing and stayed in the bedroom the while time. I know he really feels bad when he holes up. He's only been this sick 2-3 times in the 10 years I've know him.
