Today my DH tried to tell me that he is on call tomorrow night and that we have to take 2 cars to my reunion in case he gets called in. Bwahahahaha, nice try, sucker! I scheduled him off call 6 months ago when the schedule was being made. Yes, you will dress up and be my date to this thing come hell or high water! DH is giving me a Facebook chat lesson on narcotics versus benzodiazapines versus analgesics versus opiates versus on and on and on and how the definitions vary from legal terms to pharmacologic terms and how drugs fit under those umbrellas. And holy shit, I have a completely new found respect for PharmD's, PhDs in pharmacology and toxicology, pharmacy techs, and anyone else who can make heads or tails of that convoluted ranking system. DH's schedule this week has driven me to drink, but the good news is I don't think I'm alone. I just went to the "fancy" liquor store in town to get the ingredients for a vodka gimlet (I've decided it's my reward after DS goes to bed tonight). I was feeling bad about toting a baby with me into a liquor store, but it turns out half the customers in there were moms with kids. I found my people!Comment
