Lol. Today I was talking to DS's teacher about the schedule for Lego League. He said that he hadn't chosen the days that they are going to meet. I asked if it could be Mondays and Wednesdays because that doesn't interfere with Karate. He thought that would work well. Today, I am officially 30. I made it to the other side.
Let the biological-clock-related meltdown commence.
Today I was feeling a little grumpy about being the family money manager and knowing that DH hadn't gotten me anything (though he said he had a plan), until DH told me he's had my present for ages and he found away around my financial omniscience. Good man. Even though it's probably just on his personal credit card which I will now have to pay off... at least it's not staring me in the face in my online accounts. We have this same issue on bdays etc. we have usaa linked to all of out credit cards and accounts so it's so easy for either of us to know what's been spent. I'm not sure how to get around it except to ask him not to look at it around his bday or have my parents buy things and then send them a check. I'm sure I'll eventually figure it out!Comment

Sure enough, I opened a new Joy of Cooking yesterday! (He works today so we celebrated early.)
