  • Poor baby!! And so scary -- dog fights, even harmless ones, always terrify me. Did these dogs just get loose from their home or do they wonder around there often? If they're strays or they seem to escape from home often I'd definitely call animal control.

There are always dogs barking wildly behind the fence.

Dh has had such bad luck with neighbor dogs. Last spring he was bitten by a dog in our old neighborhood.
Those owners sound like a disaster waiting to happen. I'd still call it in.

        • Poor Zef! I'd also report it. If the owners had acted differently, maybe not, but since they didn't seem concerned, that's a big red flag.

            • Yes! Call animal control for sure!! Make sure you carry pepper spay if you have notoriously aggressive dogs in your neighborhood. My friends dog was attacked and killed while on a family walk by a notorious neighborhood dog that no one would do anything about.

I'm so sorry. Poor puppy and your dh!!!

                • The wardrobe department for Portlandia is having a huge sale to get rid of all the clothes from this past season, and I got an invite to come check it out a day before it opens to the public! I have no idea what to expect (besides lots and lots of flannel), but it should be fun.

Long dresses (from all the women's bookstore skits), assless chaps from the bondage couple, and a shit ton of things with birds on them...

Seriously, that sounds like a blast!

                    • I didn't see the assless chaps, but they definitely had all the other wild costumes! I ended up getting a bunch of cute tops and skinny jeans (still with the tags). Everything was between $1 and $5. I would have gotten way more, but DS was with me and he's not much of a marathon shopper.

                              • Today I'm working from home, and I went for a nice long walk to enjoy this gorgeous weather. And to see if it helps a certain little baby decide to make her appearance into this world.
