It is a little odd that there is no photo. You'd think the amount of cash for that pic would be enormous. Maybe I should get myself a telephoto lens and a ticket to CA....

Of course, if Tom is gay and has kept it out of the press all these years, the man must be seriously scary to the press corp. I know he's sued several papers. Maybe no one wants to cross him? But that doesn't make a lot of sense since the paparazzi seem to take on a lot of other resistant subjects.

Indie film director John Roecker was walking to his car in Los Feliz while wearing a shirt with the slogan "Scientology is Gay" when a shirtless dude and Jenna Elfman approached him. The shirtless dude was Jenna's husband and he told John that he was making fun of his religion. It's then that Jenna went ape-shit!


According to Roecker, whose encounter was first reported on LA's KROQ-FM's Kevin and Bean Show, the invective started to fly after he made several references to Scientology theology and its reported central tenant, the story of Xenu.

Roecker says Jenna repeatedly said "What crimes have you committed?" and began screaming at Roecker, "Have you raped a baby?" as motorists on Los Feliz Boulevard drove by in snarled traffic.

Roecker says it appears that Bodhi Elfman prepared to take a swing at him, but thought against it.

Bizarrely, Roecker also says that the Elfmans had a young, twenty-something male companion with them whom they continually instructed to move away and cover his ears whenever references to Xenu were made.


Holy shit! Jenna Elfman is nuts! Scientology honestly turns your brains into mush. I shouldn't be saying this, because those bitches are powerful and will eff me up. I was thinking of becoming a Scientologist just because with all the guys in there, I'd probably get a lot of dick!

Pictures of TomKat's Baby Didn't Sell

If like everyone else you've been wondering what happened to Suri Cruise and why we've never seen a picture of her, here is part of the answer: No one wanted to pay for her.

According to my sources, a photo shoot of Suri was offered to Wire Image, the prestigious agency, for sale to the various celebrity magazines right after the little "Mission: Impossible"/"Dawson's Creek" tyke was born in silence to her unmarried movie star parents Tom Cruise and the dazed-looking Katie Holmes. An auction was conducted, with People, US Weekly, Star and the lesser names like In Touch all putting in their two cents.

Unfortunately, it must have felt like two cents to Cruise given the amount that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt fetched from People: $4 million, not to mention more from magazines around the world.

The Cruise auction is said to have produced not more than a $3 million bid. At that point, the offer was rescinded. The mission was termed "impossible." No further word was heard from the Cruise camp.


Exactly who from Cruise's strange inner circle initiated the contact is still unknown, although I am told the enterprise was "official." It's likely that the Church of Scientology would have gotten a cut, too, considering they like to take 10 percent of everything from their celebrity clients.

And now that Suri is almost three months old, has her price gone up or down? The answer, says one of the mag's experts, is down.

"Shiloh was the whole deal," my source said. "We won't see a baby like that again for a while."

In other words, Britney Spears shouldn't expect a windfall for her latest Federline product.

So, they whored out their first-born to the highest bidder, and when she didn't fetch a suitable price, they bailed... Is there any proof they kept dear Suri if she wasn't able to earn her keep? WWLRHD?

And, lest there be any confusion, I don't think Brangolina "whored out" Shiloh because the money from her first pics went to charity, and by "charity" I don't mean the Church of Scientology.

I like what SJP and Matthew Broderick did for their first kid - they "tipped off" every media outlet, so there was no price to be put on the pictures. Everybody had a turn b/c they stopped for photos on their way out of the hospital.
