Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter Suri has weekly hair appointments, it has been claimed.

The tot, who is not yet one, has reportedly been visiting a stylist every seven days to keep her luscious dark locks neat and trim.

However, it is claimed Tom and Katie have some peculiar demands over Suri's cut.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "She is always naked and no one's allowed to talk around the baby."

Tom Cruise is said to be pilfering his 5′9″ wife Katie Holmes’ heels so that she no longer towers over him when they’re out together. Tom is getting rid of Katie’s expensive shoes and blaming his live-in sister for the fact that they’re missing. Katie knows what’s going on, but she’s keeping quiet about it.

TomKat now play “a cute little cat-and-mouse game” when it comes to Katie’s choice in footwear.

“Katie says she’ll look for some of her favorite high heels and when she can’t find them, she’ll ask Tom about it,” the friend says. “He’ll say ‘Oh, Lee Anne [Tom’s sister] wanted to borromw them.’ And then, for some reason, they never turn up again.”

The source adds that when Katie asks Lee Anne about the shoes, she says she doesn’t know what Katie’s talking about. “But Katie doesn’t call Tom out on it - she just shrugs and says, ‘Well, he’s given me another reason to go shopping for another pair!’”

The article goes on to recount Tom’s second wife Nicole Kidman’s comment on David Letterman following her 2001 divorce from the 5′7″ pint-sized actor. When Letterman asked how her life was different, Kidman said “Well, I can wear high heels now!”

It could be true that Tom is hiding Katie’s shoes and blaming it on his sister. I guess the only way to tell if this story is plausible would be to see if Tom’s sister has the same shoe size as Katie. When I first read Star’s headline I was hoping Tom was busted trying on Katie’s shoes and was into transvestism. You’ll forgive me for using misleading wording in the title in the hope that you would get the same picture in your head.

And TMZ notes that a recent interview Katie Holmes gave to a local paper in Lousiana where she’s filming Mad Money with Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah may have been more revealing than intended. Speaking about the character Katie plays in the upcoming film, a female-oriented crime caper, she says “she’s sort of delighted to just be a part of something and have girlfriends for the first time. She’s a type of person who creates a happier environment than she’s actually in. … I like that about her.”

As we reported last week, all those screaming “Katie’s leaving Tom!” headlines in the tabloids were just carefully spun stories around the fact that she would be filming in Lousiana soon. There may have been some merit to them, though, if she’s talking about how her “character” tries to create a happier environment and is just glad to be part of something with girlfriends for once.

While the Tom is away, the Kat will play – or at least she'll try to get back to her roots and contact old friends she's been excommunicated from since she entered Camp Cruise. Katie Holmes is in Louisiana shooting her next film, "Mad Money," and she's been getting in touch with old friends, reports Life & Style (via MSNBC), and is planning to visit her family in Ohio. "She's trying to make amends with her family," says a family pal. She's also reportedly been "secretly talking to pastors" to reconnect with her Catholic faith, and according to reports, wants to get Suri into "kiddie Catholicism" classes.

An inside source has snitched to Us Weekly that Tom Cruise has ordered Katie Holmes to take "mommy lessons" at the Scientology Center. Friends say that Katie is neck-deep into Scientology and her only outside link is Posh Beckham. For some reason Tom still allows Katie to remain friends with her even though Posh has made it clear that she's not joining Scientology, because she wants to spend her money on shoes and purses instead.

A Scientology source said that the "mommy" classes are basically classes to learn parenting skills.

Katie still has her Scientology minder who was assigned to her when she started dating Tom. The minder has to make sure Katie doesn't say anything critical about the cult.

Scientology parenting classes scare. They most likely teach you how to prepare your tots for the mothership.

I'm waiting for the day Katie loses it in the middle of Barney's shoe department. That day is coming.

I don't know anything about TomKat, and even less about babies, but I was just on people.com, and that baby looks way older than 1 year old. Or am I mistaken?

also, i saw a pic of suri running...full out running. how many 11 months old can do that? :huh:
