Andrew Morton in hiding from Scientologists for writing Tom Cruise expose

      In Hiding

      Don’t f&ck with Xenu.

The book is due in January, not for another 2 months, but Andrew Morton, after going underground to write it, apparently has to stay underground even after its release. ESPECIALLY after its release.

      Which is great news.

Because what’s in the book is SO explosive, Xenu’s disciples are angry. And Xenu is not kind to his enemies. As such, Morton has been forced to sell his home and hide away, safe from the vengeful attack of the Church:

"I have received threats from the Scientologists and things have become pretty heavy - to the extent that it's almost more than my lawyers can handle. I've sold my flat and I'm not telling anyone where I'm moving to. I intend to disappear for a while."

Can you imagine? What could possibly be in this book that will require such extreme measures?

      Chills, chills, chills.

      Praise Xenu. Long live Xenu!

I had forgotten, but this reminded me...a friend of a friend left scientology. My friend said his friend's whole family were totally harrassed and threatened and even moved a couple of times but it kept happening. This was a long time ago though, long before Cruise jumped the couch for Katie.

Is Katie officially a scientology member?? The whole thing is sooooo odd to me.

I have something to add (FINALLY). Katie ran the NYC marathon.

That's it. Hey, it is interesting to me.

She was allowed to run after the admissions were closed, too...

apparently there were some annoyed people in NYC.

Did anyone see the picture of Tom (I think in People) at the end of the race? He's holding Suri, and Katie has just finished the race... Anyway, He looks really wierd. The whole thing is so wierd.

More information is slowly coming out about the book that has Andrew Morton running for his life. "No one has dared write a book like this before," says Brian Smith of publisher St Martin’s Press. "It’s going to be explosive."

Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography, will make allegations about:

                  * Why Tom’s been dogged by rumors about his sexuality.
                  * How Scientology helped Tom deal with ‘intimate personal issues’ and ‘cured’ his dyslexia.
                  * What really went on inside Tom’s marriages to Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers.
                  * The inside story of his relationship with Penélope Cruz.
                  * The real story of how Tom met Katie Holmes.
                  * The behind-the-scenes story of Tom’s bizarre behavior on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
                  * Why Tom denounced Brooke Shields for turning to the ‘Nazi science’ of psychiatry.
                  * Why Tom isn’t always the Mr Nice Guy he portrays.

Tom Cruise’s lawyer has stated that

                  1. "The assertions about what will be in Mr. Morton’s book are all false and defamatory of Tom Cruise. "

                  2. "The rumors that he is homosexual are completely and unequivocally false. "

                  3. "He has had no “sham relationships” and has never married ”for publicity”. Nor did he interview “a number of actresses to be his girlfriend before choosing Katie."

                  4. "Mimi Rogers never said Tom “couldn’t” give her children. Nothing truthful that Mr Morton could say would damage Tom and Katie’s relationship." Looks like the attorney must have seen even more than we know about. This is going to be a good one.
i may have to splurge on this book. it comes out on january 15th. (how bout that picture? )

                  • Re: Tom and Katie: Is it real?

Tom Cruise was presented the “courage” award at Germany’s Bambi Awards, their equivalent of the Oscars. The Bambis are drier than the Oscars, but aren’t as long and also include fashion and music awards. This year the musical acts included Rihanna and Bon Jovi and American celebrities in attendance were Cruise and Katie Holmes, Sharon Stone and Eva Longoria. Sofia Loren was also honored for her life’s work.

I just watched Cruise’s acceptance speech and he rambled on for more than five minutes. He was given the award after a long montage was shown featuring practically every movie he’s ever appeared in, so maybe he was feeling particularly nostalgic. Even though I didn’t understand all of it I was starting to feel embarrassed for him.

Cruise’s speech was dubbed over in German, which I usually understand in context, but it was hard to follow. I bugged the shit out of my husband to translate it for me, and he kept saying he couldn’t directly translate it and that Cruise was like a preacher who was just rambling on. Cruise talked about how gracious and welcoming the German people had been to him while he was filming Valkyrie, and he then spoke about his meager childhood and about he moved around a lot with his mom while he was growing up. Then he launched into this long diatribe about following your dreams or something. Every time you thought he was over he wasn’t and he would just keep rambling on. At one point the audience clapped and he should have taken his leave, but instead he stayed at the podium to go on at least twice as long. The camera panned to the audience quite a few times and the attendees looked bored and perplexed as he just went on and on.

When Cruise returned to his seat, Katie Holmes smiled slightly and looked down, you could totally tell that she was embarrassed by how effusive he was. I love the German people too, I married one, but there’s no reason to go on and on about it and philosophize without end at an awards show.

I’m not home at the moment, we’re moving and are at a hotel, or I would have taped this and put it up. As soon as it’s available online I’ll post the video here. It was truly incredible how long Cruise spoke.

Thanks to WENN for the pictures of Tom and Kate at the Bambis. Also does Katie look pregnant or is her stomach just sticking out? Either way, that’s not a flattering dress, but at least her new hair detracts from it.

Even the 80s don't excuse this complete breach of masculinity.

I think all the male hotties out there have suspect photos. Witness the Beckham shot. Johnny Depp has tons of "gay" pics as well. And Russell Crowe. I wonder if the photographers are just having fun with them...... :>

Clearly they will expand the market for a sex symbol by any means necessary. I bet Tom has a huge gay following.

                              BTW, the picture? SO gay.
