So, it is raining at least an inch an hour right now. Anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 inches has fallen so far with at least another inch predicted.

I think we are no longer in a drought.

The humidity is setting in here. Beautiful, sunshiny days are only slightly less beautiful when you walk outside to leave for work at 8:00am and the "feels like" temperature is already in the 80s because the humidity is through the roof. The two weeks of spring we had was nice!

It is lovely here now, but last night we got 3.5" of rain and it looks like the storms that are currently over KC are likely going to hit here again. For those of you along the lower Mississippi, hang on tight because I wouldn't be surprised if you get some flooding shortly.

ETA: There was an F1 tornado that touched down just outside of where the entire 4/5 classes from C's school were camping last weekend. Very scary to think about as a parent.

SO tired of the rain - it rained EVERY day that we were in MN Friday - yesterday and now its raining here today and tomorrow. They SAY it should be a dry weekend, it better be - we're going to an outdoor concert Saturday night and I told DH I wasn't going in the rain its going to be muddy enough as it is!
